Universal brings home The Ballad of Wallas Island to Blu-ray

The Ballad of Wallis Island follows Charles (Tim Key), an eccentric lottery winner who lives alone on a remote island and dreams of getting his favorite musicians, Mortimer-McGwyer (Carey Mulligan and Tom Basden) back together. His fantasy quickly turns into reality when the bandmates and former lovers accept his invitation to play a private show at his home on Wallis Island. Old tensions resurface as Charles tries desperately to salvage his dream gig.
I had a chance to check this film out back in April at an advanced screening. Its soundtrack is truly charming and sees outstanding performances in stars Tom Basden and Tim Key with Cary Mullligan.
The film is a feel-good comedy and is an easy re-watch over and over again. This film originally came from a short film and was adapted into a feature film - the process took nearly a decade!
Universal releases the film onto a BD-50 disc with a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 Track.
