The Scoop: Miranda makes its Blu-ray debut from Shout! Factory!!!

Frank is a librarian with a deep romantic streak. Struck with love for a beautiful stranger named Miranda (Christina Ricci), he dares to voice his feelings and winds up in a whirlwind of intrigue.

The elusive Miranda presents many faces - businesswoman, dancer, and dominatrix - and though Frank enjoys the chase, he questions if he can maintain his hold on such an enigmatic creature. John Simm, Kyle MacLachlan, and John Hurt also star in this darkly comic romance.

Shout! Factory delivers to us on Blu-ray “Miranda” starring Christina Ricci.

This is the first time ever the film has been made available on Blu-ray and we have Shout! Studios to thanks for that. The last physical media release was only a DVD and that was way back in 2003! This HD transfer is a significant upgrade from that one. Like Shout does with all of their transfers - they’re of the highest quality with picture and audio crisp and nicely detailed.

Aspect ratio is 2.35:1.

Included in this release is a DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0 track.
