REVIEW: Warner delivers with "The Intern" in 4k UHD with Dolby Vision!
Nancy Meyers finally has a 4k UHD physical media release with Warner Bros.'s "The Intern".
Everyone loves a feel-good Nancy Meyers film and “The Intern” is one of those that you can leave on and meditate to! Re-watching it last night in 4k UHD with Dolby Vision - I was absolutely blown away by the gorgeous visuals displayed on by screen. The Intern is filled with a lot of whites, grays and silvers throughout the film. The HDR enhances those blacks and the 4k UHD with Dolby Vision/HDR enhances significantly facial and costume details!
This is one of the best 4k transfers I’ve seen from Warner Bros.
I highly recommend you purchase this on 4k UHD as it is dramatically different in details and color display from the BD version. This film has a lot of detail paid attention to in the set and costume designs and with a 4k transfer that makes all the difference more to enhance those esthetically pleasing details of a Nancy Meyers movie.
Included is a lossless DTS HD-MA 5.1 Surround audio track on this 4k UHD release. The same audio track from the BD. It sounds so good! Usually the dramedies don’t get this special audio mix, but with “The Intern” we got it!
When owning a movie like The Intern on 4k UHD - you get the highest quality version of this movie possible and you own it forever! You never have to worry about it leaving your favorite subscription service.
