REVIEW: Troy on 4k Ultra HD from ARROW VIDEO
A treasure has been delivered in the form of a 4k UHD release from Arrow Video and just in time for “The Odyssey”.
Arrow Video has delivered the definitive home video release of Troy, giving Wolfgang Petersen's epic the presentation it has deserved for years. This Limited Edition isn't just another catalog release—it's a painstaking restoration that showcases the film's incredible production design, costumes, and large-scale battle sequences with remarkable clarity.
The biggest selling point is that both the Theatrical Cut and the fan-favorite Director's Cut receive their own dedicated 4K UHD discs, allowing each version of the film to shine without compromise. The Director's Cut has long been the preferred version for many fans thanks to its expanded character moments and additional story beats, while the Theatrical Cut retains the more familiar pacing and makes greater use of James Horner's memorable score.
