Before diving into this week's review, it's worth saying that after an incredible week of attending San Diego Comic-Con, I’m excited to dive into this coverage for Arrow Video’s upcoming release of Stranger Things: The Complete Series Deluxe 4K Ultra HD Set isn't just another box set—it's one of the most ambitious and premium television releases ever assembled for home video. Stranger Things: The Complete Series (4K UHD)
Arrow Video Review
Overall Score: 5/5
Arrow Video continues to prove why they remain one of the premier boutique labels in physical media. Partnering with Netflix to finally bring Stranger Things to home video in a deluxe collector's edition was already exciting—but the finished product exceeds expectations in nearly every category.
The moment you open the oversized deluxe box, it's immediately clear this was designed by collectors for collectors. Every component feels premium, from Juan Ramos' outstanding new wraparound artwork to the reversible sleeves featuring Kyle Lambert's iconic artwork, the Hawkins map, posters, Hellfire Club collectibles, Palace Arcade coin, art cards, and perhaps the biggest surprise—the outstanding 148-page hardcover-style artbook packed with concept art, production materials, and essays from the Duffer Brothers and other filmmakers.
This feels less like buying a television series and more like purchasing a museum-quality archive.
Video Quality
The biggest headline here is the complete Dolby Vision presentation across every season.
The image quality is absolutely phenomenal.
Colors explode off the screen while still maintaining the nostalgic '80s aesthetic that defines the series. Neon lights inside Starcourt Mall, Christmas lights communicating with Will, Hawkins Lab's sterile whites, and the eerie reds of the Upside Down all receive significant improvements in HDR.
Black levels are incredibly deep without crushing shadow detail—especially important during the countless nighttime sequences throughout the series.
Fine textures are outstanding. Clothing, facial detail, practical makeup effects, creature designs, and production design all benefit tremendously from the native 4K presentation.
Each season also maintains a wonderfully cinematic appearance with natural grain and excellent clarity.
Whether you're watching Season One for the tenth time or experiencing Season Five for the first time, every episode looks absolutely spectacular.
Audio
Every season includes the original DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 mixes along with stereo options.
Seasons 4 and 5 receive upgraded Dolby Atmos presentations that are every bit as immersive as fans hoped.
The Atmos mixes elevate the Upside Down, Vecna's terrifying attacks, explosions, dimensional effects, and Kyle Dixon & Michael Stein's phenomenal synth score into a true home theater showcase.
Height channels are used naturally without becoming gimmicky, making Seasons Four and Five reference-quality demonstrations for Atmos systems.
Excellent Disc Navigation
One feature Arrow deserves tremendous credit for is the thoughtful disc authoring.
Rather than simply listing episode numbers, every disc includes chapter selections complete with each episode's title and synopsis.
It makes navigating such a large collection effortless while giving each season the presentation of an archival television release rather than just another streaming dump placed onto discs.
It's a small detail—but one collectors will genuinely appreciate.

Final Thoughts
Arrow Video has delivered what many fans thought would never happen: a definitive physical edition of Stranger Thingsthat fully embraces the collector market.
From the outstanding Dolby Vision transfers and immersive Dolby Atmos audio on Seasons Four and Five to the beautifully authored discs, extensive bonus materials, premium collectibles, and museum-quality packaging, this release sets a new benchmark for television on physical media.
Perhaps my favorite surprise is just how thoughtfully each disc has been authored. Having dedicated menus that display every chapter, episode title, and synopsis makes revisiting the series incredibly enjoyable and reinforces that this is a true archival release—not simply streamed content transferred onto discs.
After an unforgettable Comic-Con week, this was the perfect release to come home to. It's a celebration of one of television's defining series and another reminder of why physical media continues to matter.
For longtime fans, collectors, and home theater enthusiasts alike, Stranger Things: The Complete Series Deluxe 4K UHD Collection is nothing short of essential.
