Review: Game Night on 4k UHD
Game Night - this fight club and its cut little doggy finally gets its 4k UHD physical media debut!
Warner Bros. has been on a roll lately and we’re not just talking about dice on the table here! The 4k UHD releases have been the best of the rest rolling out in groups. In this quad we get Game Night starring Jason Bateman and Rachel McAdams plus Jessie Plemons as their creepy and funny neighbor next door who has an adorable little dog (pictured on the cover).
Game Night takes place at night so for a comedy - this is rather a dark film. That Dolby Vision/HDR really helps add value here where the dark spots creep in adding brightness and extra background depth and detail throughout.
This is one of those 4ks I have been popping in on the regular - not just because of how funny the film is, but the picture just pops and is a good re-watch!
This is a must-own and add to your collection-type film! Also, the bonus features are pretty funny on this one. The gag reel will give you some good laughs and the other featurettes give you an insight on how Game Night was made.
Bonus Features:
An Unforgettable Evening: THE MAKING OF GAME NIGHT
GAG REEL.
