Freaky (2020) 4k UHD from Scream Factory!
Our friends over at Scream Factory sent us this 4k UHD to review - let's take a look!

From Blumhouse (Happy Death Day) comes a terrific slasher flick with a twist. Things get freaky at Blissfield High when 17-year-old Millie (Kathryn Newton) swaps bodies with an infamous serial killer (Vince Vaughn).
This 4k UHD presentation of Freaky is presented in HDR 10 and looks and sounds fantastic! Freaky is what I would call a “homedy” - a horror/comedy. With the two genre stars combining forces in Vaughn and Newton we get a freaky friday type body switch where the male killer becomes a teenage girl and a teenage girl goes into a male serial killer’s body. I know, FREAKY!
So…how does it look and sound you might ask!
That HDR really comes in to handy when it becomes the horror elements whereas in the more comedic/more lit screens it enhances the warm tones in those scenes even more!
The audio track that comes with this 4k UHD is EPIC!!!! I don’t normally like DTS mixes because they’re so low in my opinion. This track was the opposite of that - it sounded like a Dolby mix whereas the levels were raised throughout adding enhanced sound effects to the kill sequences and when the music gets brassy it packs a punch! (no punt intended!)
I also always enjoy a good Christopher Landon commentary track which is included on the 4k! He goes into great BTS details!
Overall, a 10/10 for me and I have watched now 4x since I got my copy!
