Adapted for the screen from the book of the same name comes “French Exit” from Sony Pictures Classics is a pure delight of a watch and that’s why we hail it as our “February: Movie of the Month”.

Penniless Manhattan socialite Frances (Michelle Pfeiffer) cashes in her possessions and resolves to live in a Paris apartment with her directionless son Malcom (Lucas Hedges) and a cat.
Presented on a BD-50 disc with a class act 5.1 DTS-HD MA track this movie is sure to delight you from the moment it begins and ends. It’s a re-watch for sure!
I’ve been out of internet for the past couple of days, bummer, but that’s why we have discs! And re-watching this movie gave me so much comfort.
Director Azazel Jacobs whose recent film “His Three Daughters” on Netflix was a breakout hit brings it all together with “French Exit”.
This movie was one of the first films to open cinemas back in 2020 during the pandemic so its audience was sadly was limited.

Also starring along Pfeiffer is Lucas Hedges (Peter Hedge’s son) from “Ben is Back” along with Valerie Mahaffey who played Alma Hodge on “Desperate Housewives” stars in this film amongst other notable stars.
